The True, Lasting Reconciliation report, a joint effort of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, has been released. The report contains valuable information for the federal government and provincial governments work together to move the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) beyond legislation. According to the report, all legislation must align with UNDRIP, and policies and operational government practices should also be made to align with UNDRIP.
